We have just upgraded our 4X8 Tree Straps to 4X10 Tree Straps We think that the whole reason you buy a tree strap is to be able to go all the way around whatever you are using as a winch anchor. Todays off Road driver may have to use a rock or other large object as an anchor point during recovery. We hope an extra 2 feet of length will come in handy sometime when a lesser strap will come up short. We use 4" webbing because a wider strap will spread the load over a wider area doing less damage to the tree, or anchor point.
